  • If you are using version 7 of the Internet Explorer browser, click on the Feeds buttton above the page display (it's an orange square with some white curves), and click on the "Subscribe to this feed" link. To subscribe using earlier versions of Internet Explorer, or other browsers, err, I am afraid I do not know.

To subscribe if you are using the Opera browser

  • If you are using the Opera browser, click on the "Subscribe to this Blog's feed" link with button 2 of your mouse (probably the right hand button), select Copy, click on Feeds in the action bar at the top of the Browser, select "Manage feeds ...", click on "New", select the text in the "Address" field, and paste the contents of your clipboard (which will be the blog subscription address you copied earlier). Clock on "Save". The whole process might take less time than reading the above.

Photographs In The Country


T16exhib2009 One of the fomer councillors on the Parish Council is a keen photographer and belongs to a group, T16, whose members share an enthusiasm for creative photographic work. Every year or so they hold an outdoor exhibition and I went down to Mayfield in East Sussex today to see what was on show.


There were lots of imaginative and visually stimulating pieces of art, but what added to the interest was the way in which the surroundings were used as more than just a backdrop.
